About The Position
Test Automation Developer is the most technical field in quality assurance. Besides the pre-knowledge of designing test cases and testing applications manually, you also have knowledge and control of programming languages and automation tools which are essentials for writing automated test scripts. Your day-to-day responsibilities would include, review of nightly executed runs and investigating problems in software as a result of executed run, maintenance and improvement of an already built framework for running automated test cases, writing new functional and non-functional auto test scripts for our web applications, and build a new framework for automated testing of applications.
Seniority Level: Ideally more than 2 years of test automation and development experience in Java.
What you’ll do:
- Design and write test automation scripts for Web Applications
- Investigate software problems as a result of test executions
- Improve our QA tooling, ensuring continuous testing within our CI/CD framework
- Increase our QA automation capabilities, minimize the manual efforts in web application testing and delivery
Requirements
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Education: B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
- Passion for quality, finding bugs and automating scenarios
- Good command of Java programing language
- You have knowledge of SQL, shell, and bash commands
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, you work well in a team, and enjoy collaborating with others to find the best solution to a problem
- Extensive experience with QA automation, manual testing
- Worked with a few or all of the following: Selenium, Selenide, Jenkins, Docker, Solenoid, Test Rail, Serenity BDD, Postgres DB, Rest Assured, Maven, Junit
Extra points for:
- Experience developing in Java
- Knowledge with mobile automation by using Appium
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL
- Knowledge of REST service patterns and other client/server interaction models
- High level of logical reasoning
