About The Position
As an IT Support Technician, you will provide support and maintenance of a complex technical infrastructure to effectively serve the entire organization (worldwide), including installing, maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting systems, responding promptly to users’ problems and resolving them efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT support system
- Respond to customer queries by chat, phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Create step-by-step training material for employees
- Inventory maintenance
- Manage users’ access and permissions
- Implement an onboarding and offboarding process for employees
Requirements
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience working in a help desk environment
- 1-2 years of experience in computer hardware
- Proficiency with a Windows, MacOS, and Mobile OS
- Can-do attitude, professionalism, and responsibility
- Strong organizational skills
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
- Service-oriented and a team player
Nice to have:
- Linux knowledge
- Familiarity with networking and equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, VLANs)
